Your experience!
Once you have checked-in at the reception, we’ll explain the stages of the route and give you a map of the route with information about the natural habitat that you’ll come across.
Then you can pick up a container to stow you affairs, and your life jacket and paddle. We’ll also help you into your canoe or kayak. Then it’s off on the adventure….
We suggest that you head of towards the majestic red Rocher de Roquebrune, its Rocher de Palay. You can do lots in an hour – get the hang of canoeing after a few zig-zags, check out the animals on the river such as the turtles, have race against your friends or even have a refreshing little swim…
The end of the afternoon is the perfect time to go out on the water, as the temperature drops a bit and you catch the sunlight streaming across the river.
On your marks, ready, steady…paddle!
Useful to know for this canoe trip:
• A morning outing gives you the best sunlight on the red Rocher, so is a great time for photos. Also a good time for spotting wildlife (heron, kingfishers….)
• In the early afternoon the onshore seas breezes arrive, and this cools down the atmosphere a bit
Great reasons to do this trip:
• Perfect for beginners or for families with small children (5 upwards)
• Superb views of the red Rocher de Roquebrune
• Autonomy and freedom (no guide or shuttle bus necessary)
• You can go at any time of day.
